This is for general thought s in the role of the 3 in the nba. Do you like how important it has become? Do you like how frequently it is being shot? Do you think it’s made the game more exciting? Any problems with trying to do player comparisons from different eras given the different role of the three? Any thoughts on how you might change the game? Even if radical? I’ve heard about maybe moving the three point line back. The problem being the corner three. You can’t move that back without widening the court which you can’t do without losing high $$$ seats. I personally like the three and the increased scoring and would take this era over mid/late 90s to late 00s any day of the week. But I also think it’s outnof control and miss the beautiful aspects of the game that came with interior play and even mid range. I’d like to see the league make some changes to improve this balance somehow. Not sure how though.
