Steve Franchise is a good leader when the team perfomed well.
However, when the situation is not favorable for the Rockets,
he is easy to get out of control. And if he plays bad, the team
plays bad. I think at those occasions, Rudy should cool Francise
down and let another player to take the leadship, controlling
the tempo and setting up the play.

Rice is suitable for this job by his experience, and Yao also has
the potential since he looks more mature than Francise.

No one man on the rockets is suitable to be "the leader". However, two are capable of being "the rockets".
I say again, it should be a Yao and Francis shared leadership. One's no better than the other, Yao has what Francis doesn't, Francis has what Yao doesn't. They should come together in a force of two, no one label of "leader".

Steve needs a good dose of the bench.

I think if he watched a bit more as Yao was the focus of the offense he would see that the team is better off working inside out.

Steve talks a good game, but his actions are speaking volumes about his real beliefs.
