So, what do the Mavs have to trade to the Lakers to get Kobe?

 

I think the question of Kobe avoiding answering ANY question about the Lakers is the bigger deal. Dirk's answer is kinda stock. I'm sure if Hakeem was asked that after after he won his 1st championship that he'd say he always wanted to play with Michael Jordan or Larry Bird or another obvious great player.

Well, Kobe did drop 62 on the Mavs one time. You may hate Kobe but if you are Dirk you would be imagining how open things would be if Kobe was your teammate. Dirk is like Gasol on roids.

 

Ask anybody if they wanted to join forces with Jordan, and they would say yes. The reporter is asking, and he is answering, and not avoiding the question.

If he was asked what are you doing in the next season, and he answered that, then you could think he wants it, but not the way the reporter asked him.

 

In only three qtrs too wasnt it. I believe the three qtr time score was Kobe 62 v Dallas 61, haha

 

If things REALLY blow up in L.A with the roster issues, guys getting older, ego problems, and possibly bad coaching, this could actually work. At the deadline if Cuban could get Kobe he would throw the kitchen sink. Beaubois, Caron, couple 1st rd picks and either Marion or Haywood. I know it's far fetched but I really don't see things going good in L.A this year.
