I would not give up Dirk and Harrington for Jefferson and Williams.

It mildly depends on your scoring system, but I would keep Dirk and Harrington. If you are being offered Dirk and Harrington, take it.

    :)

im being offered dirk and harrington... (yahoo fantasy bball) but the thing is, my team is pretty weak in assists. deron is my best pg. so giving him up would hurt me alot in that category. plus, dirk isnt his old self. all his stats are down this year.

    my team is as follows:

    deron williams
    tj ford
    rafer alston
    john salmons
    anthony parker
    kevin martin
    shane battier
    kevin garnett
    al jefferson
    al horfford
    tyson chandler
    brad miller
    kenyon martin
    andres nocioni

I would not give up Jefferson and Williams for Dirk and Harrington. I own Harrington and it is very frustrating...his stats are all over the place. Nelson yanks him in and out of the starting lineup like a rag doll. As you noted, Dirk has not been his usual consistent self this season while Jefferson is a lock for a double-double on a nightly basis as Minnesota doesn't have many weapons to take much if any production away from him. Deron Williams is a stud PG and since you are already low on assists it doesn't make much sense to trade him away in a package for Nowitzki and Harrington, who together average less assists than Williams does by himself.

i got an offer of chris paul + paul milsaps + morris peterson for deron + tyson chandler.

i really want paul but whats the point of the trade if i have to give up deron...

i offered al jeferson and tj for doe paul straight up but got rejected. i think tj + al jefferson for chris paul is pretty fair trade...

    Ummm

Deron Williams Al Jefferson > Dirk and Al Harrington

Deron Williams has almost equal value as Dirk.. Dirks been playin very sloppy

Al Jefferson has a SIGNIFICANT higher value than Harrington.

Yeah Harrington sucks as a fantasy player.

Not good FG% very inconsistent etc.

Def. stay with Deron and big Al J.

wow Deron and Al are MUCH better. clearly.

although the fact that HOOP T thinks the other direction might indicate it's an even deal.. but I say don't do the trade. ESPECIally considering you need the assists..

This trade favors Al Jefferson and Deron Williams. They make the more balanced combo.

i need ast and 3pm. im really really strong in reb and pts.

with my roster, who do yall think i should target?

i really like paul but the guy want deron included in the deal which kinda makes the trade pointless.

i also looked at redd but his shooting % are horrible this year.

target redd if you think his value is down. No reason to think he won't approach his career #'s by the end of the year..

I own dirk and harrington in different leagues. I would trade them for Al and Deron in a hearbeat.

Dirk is playing inconsistent. He'll give you one good month late season, but don't expect a boost in production during fantasy playoffs. I admit that he's a beast if Dallas is hit with injuries, but it's unlikely during fan. playoffs. Harrington is streaky and he gives less blocks, boards, and points.
