My sister just got a "fixed" Direct Tv card. While she is able to get every channel she can't get any of the NFL or NBA games. Is she not doing something or do you just not get those?
She tells me the problem is there is no way to order it by remote. You have to call this number to order them and thats not something she can do without revealing her evil evil ways.
HTown, you should warn her that those cards will only work for a short time since Direct periodically sends out signals across the sats that will fry any cards that are pirated. I dont know exactly how they do it, but I have heard of it happening. It cost more if you get caught than it does to subscribe, so I think the choice is obvious. BTW, I've been having this funky problem with my reciever, can any of you with a RCA reciever comment if you have also? From time to time, while attempting to pull up the channel guide, it will show "Retreiving guide" for a long time and then it will totally go blank and then it will come up saying it cant get the guide. Anyone else having this sort of problem? And also, has anyone recieved a new access card in the last year or two? We used to get new ones all the time and I wonder if this is related to the problem I am having.

While she steals direct TV, her electrical power is being snatched by her next door neighbors fancy wiring, at the same time the next door neighbor is being robbed blind by the Federal Government. The government is pissed off at Direct TV for having a monopoly and raking it in. It's the circle of life.
First of all, you won't get caught unless someone rats on you, someone who has been in your house or knows you steal DTV. Secondly, when your card gets fried, you have to go back to the person you bought it from and buy a new card. It is an issue you should have brought up in the first place with the person you bought it from.
