...has such a great jumpshot and is so crafty at creating separation from his defender. I have been impressed with him so far. Has Ray Allen in him. The Cleveland backcourt is going to be fantastic for years if they keep both of the young guns.
I agree. I enjoy watching Cleveland because of Irving and Waiters. I think they will get another top 5 pick this year and end up with a Big. That will help this team a lot.
Kyrie, Dion, Lebron Bron bron is gonna opt out when Wade is just not the same anymore (he already isnt but should fall out of the elite in the next 2 years)and they dont have enough. He will return to the cavs..
roslolian, care to comment? I distinctly remember you being a pretty big Waiters hater, and that because the Cavs picked him 4th it showed that the Cavaliers' front office was a complete disaster... In all seriousness, it's way to early to judge him one way or the other, and I'm very skeptical that he'll be able to keep his value up when his 3pt% drops to a normal level. This level of shooting just isn't sustainable, and despite being a phenomenal athlete, he doesn't rebound well or draw fouls, so much of his value is tied into his jumpshot falling.
I will admit I haven't seen too much of him. I am basing my judgement on what I have seen him do so far and its been pretty impressive.
I said it when I saw his college highlights, Dion drives to the hoop like a star. His 3 ball is unexpected though. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/I_3DfmXbeOw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I'm not in any way equating these two, but something about his game reminds me of Jordan. Once again, not saying Waiters is in the same universe as MJ. It's just his approach and game....ive thought this since the draft.
You jinxed him. He stopped producing numbers after this thread was started. (He's on my fantasy team ).
