This had an interesting statement in it that I wanted to share, you can click the link for the whole article. http://dimemag.com/2008/10/houston-rockets-nba-season-preview/ Thought it was an interesting take on the Ron Artest acquisition. That he would/could take some of the media pressure off of Tmac. I wonder how much all of that does affect Tmac when the post season rolls around, because it's always a big deal... because it's the easiest thing to grab onto for the media. What do yall think?
I think it certainly should help. It's kind of like when you KNOW you can do something, but never can once everyone is focusing on that. The less pressure on Tracy, the better.
Kind of loses some credibility there. I'm pretty comfortable running something for both Scola and Landry... as long as it's from about 18 feet or closer.
I could care less of what the media says about T-Mac/Artest, but you're right. If we go through the whole season with ZERO Artest distractions on and off the court, that in itself would be considered a big story in the NBA world. "Has Ron Artest learned from his past?"
