I'm planning to buy a digital voice recorder, the ones where you can transfer files from the DVR to a PC. I was wondering if you can burn the files that was tranferred from the DVR onto a CD?
Why yes, you can. But unless you needed the extra space, why not just buy a larger memory card? The Sony ICD-MS515 is great.
You can't burn audio files from from the internet onto a CD. I would have do that through a DVR. I would use a DVR to tape record audio files from the internet and transfer it onto a PC and burn the file onto a CD.
I presume that you're talking about streaming content, in Real Player or WMP, or whatever. I'm not a PC person, but I'm fairly sure that there is software that will enable you to rip streaming content to your hard drive. Anyone else able to help out with software suggestions?
You should try RealProducer. I used to use it to make regular sounds/music intro streaming for website. I think they have a reverse feature on there where u can take a streaming file (.asf, .ram) and turn it into a real audio file (.rm)
Here's an example. I want to burn audio clippings from a newspaper website onto a CD. The only way I know how is to record the audio clipping with a DVR and transfer it onto a PC and burn it onto a CD.
