    I'm not a big fan of "duo cams". The 3 x optical is not very much for the still cam, imo. I guess it all depends on what you want to use it for.

    I'd rather trust Canon and Sony when it comes to video equip, but thats me. From the video standpoint, its ok I guess (1 CCD), but I think for that price you can do better.

    Well in that case... I think the price/quality is about right... but just to let you know, I saw a similar model over at bhphoto.com, priced at about 800USD, pixels are a little less, but then its a 500 price drop... just a heads up.
