Digg.com is a tech website that basically, it's like slashdot-ish but it's more user driven than actually having an editor do it. It's a bunch of tech stories and each user can click "digg" if they like the story, and there's a page where you can look at the top "diggs" of the day, week, month etc. It's pretty awesome. I'm lazy so I'm gonna copy/paste my post from another forum. I just want to see if anyone is using it and add them to my friend list. http://www.digg.com Do any of you have user accounts? I just set mine up a few days ago. Also, www.diggnation.com. Digg.com podcast hosted by Alex Albrecht and Kevin Rose. My first digg = The Making Of Super Mario Bros 3
I like Digg a lot as well. I have a widget for it that shows the newest digg stories on my desktop. There are so many types of stories as well, ranging from great deals, new tech, headline news, etc. The only thing I regret is that I haven't had a chance to listen to the Digg podcasts from Kevin and Alex (did they have a videocast as well? Missed that too). If I can, I might try to check that out this week if I'm not too busy with school. I'm not a member though. I just like seeing what other people "digg" and checking it out myself. Maybe I'll join up later. BTW, nice story to digg.
