The season is over and it is time to look to the future.

People, on this forum, need to understand the difference between hating and debating. Don't call every "change" message a hatred. We all love this team and all it has done this season that is why we all are rockets fans :D

IMO, We do not need to change a great deal of players. We need to hope that everyone including tracy will be healthy when the playoffs roll around.

First, We need to sign artest, if the price is right(don't overpay him, he is more of a supporting cast at this point in his career)

Second, keep Von Wafer so as to add depth into our roster.(That is why we should not overpaid artest, so as to keep both players). also, make sure von practice hard over the summer. Make everyone work over the summer.

Third, we need a legit backup center( i like Zaza or Chris Anderson)

Finally, we need to pray to the Basketball gods and make sure no one gets hurt( season-ending stuff or injuries needs to be at the beginning of season)
we need time for the team to gel and get into playoff mood.

    LineUp:

    PG: Brooks/Lowry/Barry
SG:Artest/Wafer/T-mac(when he is healty, put him as starter)
SF:Battier/Artest/White( Put artest as starter and shane off bench)
    PF:Scola/landry/hayes/Cook
    C: Ming/ legit backup/ Dorsey

With this lineup, we would not be happy if we don't reach the finals. we have one year of "true" playoff experience for the young guys.
