I decided to give it a go for the whole 1st round and see how close I can get. Here it is...

    1st round mock 2001

    1 Washington : Eddy Curry C
    2 L.A. Clippers : Kwame Brown PF
    3 Atlanta : Eddie Griffen F
4 Chicago : Jason Richardson SG
    5 Golden St : Sagana Diop C
6 Houston (via Memphis) : Shane Battier SF
    7 New Jersey : Joe Johnson G/F
    8 Cleveland : Rodney White F
    9 Detroit : Pau Gasol F
    10 Boston : Loren Woods C
11 Boston : Jamal Tinsley PG
    12 Seattle : Brendan Haywoode C
13 Memphis (via Houston) : Tyson Chandler C
    ---------------------------------------------
14 Sacramento (via GSTATE) : Zack Randolph PF…Kings trade up to get C-Webbs replacement; give up #25 and future pick

15 Orlando : Michael Bradley F/C…seems like the ideal guy that the Magic would pick

16 Charlotte : Trenton Hassell G…a little upset Bradley is gone, but they weren’t expecting him anyway; Hassell gives them another solid guard.

17 Toronto : Troy Murphy PF…Raptors decide they just want to try and outscore opponents to win

18 Memphis (via Houston) : Richard Jefferson SF…gives them some depth and a replacement for Shareef if he is traded

19 Portland : Ousmane Cisse C…a project, but they need a big man for the future and some youth on this team

20 Cleveland : Joe Forte SG…too good to pass up

21 Boston : Gerald Wallace F…will help out the bench

22 Orlando : Omar Cook PG…solid PG; might put a little pressure on Armstrong

23 Houston : Ken Johnson C…fill in need at C with this pick, should blend well with the team

24 Utah : Gilbert Arenas SG…just what Utah needs, a solid scorer at SG. Should challenge Starks.

25 Golden St. (via Sacramento) : Kenny Satterfield…get a decent PG and Kings top pick next year.

26 Philadelphia : Rashad Phillips PG…could split time with Snow and might eventually become a starter

27 Memphis : Samuel Dalembart C…might be a huge steal this late; he will at least fill in until Chandler develepes

28 San Antonio : Terence Morris SF…hope that he can get over attitude and play well; might be a starter.

A few leftover 1st rounders that might be steals in round 2: Sam Clancy C, Samuel Dalembart C, Jeryl Sasser PG, Kendrick Brown F, Jason Richardson PG, Jeff Trepagnier G, Jason Collins C

    1st round Trades: Houston(#13,#18) to Vancouver(#6).....Sacramento(#25,future #1) to Golden State(#14)

I decided to type it on Word and copy it...big mistake. Every time I corrected it it screwed up somewhere else.

As for the Battier trade, that is not exactly something I want to happen. I just don't see Rudy taking one of the HSers. I mean, I wouldn't mind having Shane but I think Joe Johnson or maybe Rodney White would be a better fit. Especially JJ because he can play the 2 also. I am almost sure the Rockets will make some kind of trade.
