I was watching NBA TV recap of the night. I caught Francis interview with Heat's annoucers after the game. He was asked how he felt playing with Yao Ming. He started talking about it while the question is even finished. It seems to me it's automatic from him, and he was just saying what the media like to hear. I think deep inside he is annoyed by it. This explains while he'paraising Ming and pass less and less to him.

Yea I think you're right ..My guess is that David Stern had a chip inplanted into the brains of all the Rocket players, that makes them say only good things about Yao.

What do you expect him to say? Do you think a player is that stupid to badmouth his teammates? They are on the same team, they should defend each other in front of media.
The anouncer was also stupid to ask such a question to Steve about Yao.

Man, Steve must be really jealous. I have an idea that's never been brought up feishen. Why don't you start a "trade Steve" thread?

I'm a Yao fan and i am sick and tired with Yao-only fan saying stuff like this, i mean the guy just put up a game tying trey and a game winning steal, and all the media wants to know is how he think about Yao? come on people!
Just in case you Yao-only fan didn't notice, Yao is also a rockets!!

thank you for that telepathic analysis of steve francis for us feishen. perhaps next you could do your impression of miss cleo or psychoanalyze allen iverson's fear of the police.

Steve said something to the effect that Yao is like a big brother to him on his interview on NBA League Pass. This is the second time I heard Steve mention Yao as a big brother (the other time was in the Chronicle after a couple of week after Yao join the Rockets). I do think Steve had take the efforts to welcome Yao and make he feel like part of the team. Off court chemistry is not a problem with this team. I think his feeling for Yao is genuine. It may not show up on the court yet but the problem with the Rockets is just not about passing the ball to Yao but passing the ball to your teammates on a consistent basis. As I said in other threads, it probably take some time to get a habit out of your system. And may be with more practice time they will get used to play more team ball.
