    She was absolutely beaming when talking about the election result and obama. I've never seen her look so happy.

    I hear she nailed the office popular vote pool. Electoral vote margin is still up in the air, but it is looking good for her as well.

    That and she thinks McCain is a jerk.






    Oh, and she's black; it is an historic event, probably one she never thought would happen in her lifetime.

    I know a number of people (even a black person! :p ) who voted for McCain but was nevertheless glad that Obama won.

    I have always liked Dr. Rice, I bet she doesn't get any job in the Obama white house though.

    Certainly not; it would directly contradict his foreign policy pitch. But I think Obama and Biden publicly showing a willingness to intermittently council with her, James Baker and other Republican diplomats would create a nice air of bipartisanship with regards to foreign policy.
