Yes, I heard about it actually. It didn't make any news report because no white people were in harms way.

I remember a thread here about it and discussion why it wasn't aired in the media much. I don't have search capabilities but someone who does can get a link to it.

For context people should look up the number of Christian churches that are victims of arson each year. The last time it actually made news was the mid 90's when it went over 400/year and the DoJ formed a special taskforce. I think recently it is closer to 1/4 that figure, which is "small enough" that it hasn't made headlines in more than a decade.

Apparently, you have to do your act of violence in New York or LA before the national media will pay any attention.

 

I don't remember the last time a racist case involving an Asian or Native American made the national news either.

What's up with that.

 

This is probably true - but the lords of the media are, first and foremost, interested in making as much money as they possibly can - so if they have to choose between 4 hours of coverage of Kate Gosselin's most recent tabloid blurb or 4 hours of coverage of a mosque bombing, they're naturally going to choose the one that will keep the most viewers glued to the TV (and through the advertisements).

You're right. The only way is to increase the number of interested viewers through forced conversion, starting with Kate Gosselin.

A mosque in the Bedouin village of Ibtin, east of Haifa, was vandalized overnight Tuesday with graffiti.

The graffiti was discovered by village residents at 4:30 AM.

The 3 slogans spray-painted on the building's walls read: "There will be a war over Judea and Samaria," "price tag" and "this structure is destined for demolition."

"This is a serious crime that cannot be ignored," Mohammed Omaria, a village resident who works at the mosque, told Haaretz. Omria also said the crime was the result of the recent wave of anti-Arab incitement in Israel.

A village resident who lives near the mosque said he saw three yarmulke-wearing youths in the mosque's vicinity at around 2 AM Wednesday, and that when he asked them what they were doing there, they answered that they were searching for their dog.

Dozens of village residents and Muslims from nearby villages flocked to the mosque to inspect the damage.

The village's leaders said they plan to involve Israeli Arab MKs in the affair and hold a conference at the mosque.

The mosque has come under attack in the past when arsonists set fire to it in 1988.

 

The church bombings fall under the heading of "domestic terrorism" as well.

 

Real estate owned by non-profit entities may have an insurance angle that isn't followed-up on in the papers.

 

This happens all the time near the Jewish settlements, mosques will ethier be burned down get vandalized . Usually it's graffiti of star of davids and hebrew words(I imagine they're probably insulting and vulgar but because I can't read Hebrew they could be about anything). Surprisingly, the BBC usually reports incidents and Israel actually sends police to try to help.

 

Doesn't this go both ways though?
