Ok, this has probably been posted already, and I am sure I will be reemed by someone because it has already, but still....Did you notice Cuttino wearing "3" on his armband? That is ridiculous, I don't care how good of friends they are. His team captain bailed on them for a football game, oka superbowl, and he sports the dudes armband. Wow, to our fallen hero steve francis, for getting wasted in partyland, I will lead the team badly with your armband on. Also, off the subject of Cat, why does JJ wear an armband that says "419"?

    Later dudes

It's the area code for Toledo, OH. It's to remind Jackson of his Ohio roots. Kinda cool to me since since I'm from 330. Go Bucks! :)

interesting...i didn't notice that. In light of the "vehement" disagreement that took place between VG and SF regarding this issue, the armband has gotta be perceived as Mobley taking a shot against VG.

i'll say it again...this team does not have the right makeup to succeed in the long run. It doesn't and never will be able to play like a real team with any kind of consistency until we get rid of these clowns. Sure, will get glimpses of how good we could be, but they will always revert back to bad habits.

Perhaps he doesn't feel that Francis 'bailed' on him?

Why is everything some kind of portent of disaster?

In this case, Moochie, Francis and Mobley have been sporting one another's numbers on their armbands for years. They even got in a little tussle with the league about it because the league was worried it would cause confusion. Even so, why would you want Mobley to not wear Francis' number this game? Are you afraid camaraderie will hurt our team's chemistry?

Only if it is an expression of opposition to the coach and a sign of cliquishness (does that word exist? I guess not).

Otherwise, I don't think it will hurt the team's chemistry.

Don't you guys know all NBA players are gay? Instead of rings to show their commitment, they wear the arm bands with numbers.

But the thing is, Steve, Cuttino, Moochie have a three way relationship. It works out for all parties involved.

that's not camaraderie, that's r****ded and stupid in my opinion. Very unnecessary. Kind of disturbing as well. No championship team ever wore each others number on their arm unless an old teammate passed away.

its the number of STDs they got from groupies. Cuttino has a mere 3, JJ has 419, mostly from being a journeyman

I totally agree with you man! These people need to get a LIFE! Gawd al mighty!

    kind of old news.

SF use to have Cat on his armband, and Cat had Wink written on his. (from what I remember) but were forced to not wear them anymore by the NBA.

Interestingly, 419 is also the defacto description for a scam or fraud in Nigeria. 419 is the Nigerian Police code given to those email/bank account scams that I'm sure a lot of you have recieved in the past. Now 419 is slang for any scam.

I just about choked until I saw that it was really an Ohio are code.
