I might get bashed for this.. The question was does it make me unhappy? absolutley!. What makes me unhappy is that ONCE AGAIN he is out due to injury. who cares what the injury is, the bottom line is he is out again. When asked in a interview before Game 4 against the lakers yao said he felt "happy that he got furthuer than last year". The goal is to try to be a WHOLE SEASON healthy yao. The dude jumps up and down and gets freakin hurt. How can suffuring a season ending injury During the playoffs make you feel better just because this time you got injured in the 4th quarter not the third? THAT statement frustrates me as a fan. It tells me that yao is beggining to accept injuries as part of his 7'6 career. I dnt know bout ya'll... he can be happy with a half-ass playoff run, but i REALLY hope the rockets wont be happy with it. We have 2 girl superstar in Mcgrady and Yao. T-mac said that in Game 7 against the jazz he was "exhausted" and couldnt finish... excuse me? Exhausted?.. dude YOUR career is on the line, your at home, you never won a playoff series, your up seven, dallas just lost to golden state.. and you are exhausted?!?! GET THESE GIRLS OUTTA HOUSTON PLEASE!
I'm not as unhappy as I thought I might be. I've gotten used to this, and I'm looking forward to seeing what the team can do this season without Yao and McGrady.
I am also. I think if they can get a guy who can rebound and finish a little with some size in the middle, they will be ok. I'm just tired of seeing these 2 missing huge chunks of games. Yao and his dedication to the cnt is the reason why he won't have the career he couldve had. Just give us a 10/10 guy and it will be ok.
