    Just as the title says.

We started the season 0-5. The Rockets medical staff forced strict regulations on Yao's playing time/games. This caused a major problem in team chemistry on both offense and defense. And once again Yao faltered due to health issue. Once again leaving us with a gaping hole in the paint.

Last season we had to try and play without Yao for the entire year and that got us nowhere.

Year before that Yao was great in the regular season but went down in the playoffs due to another injury............resulting in the end of our season.

The past 3+ seasons have all in one way or another been negatively effected by having Yao Ming on the roster.

I understand Yao can't control his health no-matter how hard he tries but at what point does it become enough.

I hope we don't resign Yao. Love Yao as a person but I've had enough of Yao as a player.

How about the Rockets management, coaching staff, and players for putting all their chips into Yao. "Healthier than ever!" MY ASS.

No. The failure to get rid of Yao cost us the season.

Seeing as how this team was built around him, and he's MIA, so yes. I wouldn't necessarily call it Yao that screwed us, it was more bad circumstance...

You clearly don't understand your own words.

Management did what they thought was best, given the signs at the time, which SHOWED that Yao was progressing. The rest is history.

You want to know the truth? He probably did cost us a playoff birth this season.

The Rockets need to fully move on from the Yao/Mac era. They already got rid of McGrady, Yao needs to go next.

The problem with this current team is that they're good - but they're definitely not ever going to be contenders with this core. We need to rebuild IMO. It's painful to say this - but we have no superstar (unless we luck out in free agency - let's be realistic though, chances are Dwight Howard isn't coming to H-Town).

We won't ever finish with a lotto pick because we win too many games. I don't want us to end up being the next Indiana Pacers.

Too many people are optimistic about what we have on this team, but have you actually *looked* around the league? We aren't contenders.

Yes he did. The Front office did too by trusting his body and not looking toward the future.

By the way, why was he even at the game? When we needed a big man the most we have a 7 footer in a suit...smh

This team has had their chances this season, just like last season, the guys in uniform are responsible.

And this is why they didn't go after, say, Tyson Chandler during the offseason?

So the guy taking up the majority of our payroll and hailed as the face of the franchise and leader doesn't have any responsibility?

Obviously they didn't want to challenge the Mavs package because they didn't

No, he didn't. Why on earth would he? It's not like he's a player who plays an important position for us at a high level.

    WOW YOU ARE SO DUMB.

Where is the LOGIC in blaming physical attributes of a person? A blind person born blind is somehow responsible for his BLINDNESS?

Someone who is lame somehow bears a responsibility for his body? Mentally, I can see. Physically, everything is out of his hands.

Shaking my head... Did Yao cost us the season? No. Our team play cost us the season.

Clutchfans, always looking for a scapegoat.

I'm sure Yao wants to play. It's not like he's just milking his injury to sit out a few games and have a nice long vacation.
