He's beasting it up right now against the Heat. I think the Rockets had a great chance but did they pass on him??
He doesn't fit in Adelman's system. Adelman wants a high post big. Go figure what's gonna happen to this franchise.
I dont know if we ever had a chance of getting him but I know this last summer Morey tried to get him from the Bobcats in a 4 team deal I believe.
So no superstars???? And no, I'm not saying Chandler is a superstar but if we had a chance to get a star player, say no to him as well because he wouldn't fit the system???? If so, Adelman needs to go.
They tried or rather they were going to get him in a trade http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/bk/bkn/7099520.html http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=189379
understatement, a center that can block shots? i love chuck, if you put that ball down its his, but for the players that are smart enough to keep it above their head and shoot over the top he cant do nothin abt at his size id love him instead of miller right now imagine him and yao in at the same time...wa wa wa wow i need to change my undies now
Please dont tell me Brad Miller who looks like he is stuck in quick sand everytime he plays is making more money then Tyson Chandler...
So what's wrong with this guy, other than an injury he suffered earlier this month? I guess he's still recovering from it.. not sure how serious it was. Looks like someone we should take a look at. He blocks shots, great athleticism, takes it strong to the rim, and can hit a jumper out to 15 feet. <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/8OTybeBsDz4?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/8OTybeBsDz4?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
If Kevin Martin and Brad Miller are his kind of players, but Tyson Chandler isn't, then he can pack his system up and head elsewhere.
Chandler is answering the doubters, for now. If the good health continues, he will be a nice pickup for the Mavs (who are paying a boatload of salary at the C position this season). If I were a team, I'd still hesitate to give him long-term security next summer. P.S: The Spurs game was a complete fluke for him and will never happen again.
Man, Someone Bump that 'Brad Miller signs with Rockets' thread. I doubted certain aspects of Miller's game and referenced Chandler and I got beasted to the point where I thought I was watching the game wrong.
We did have a shot. Not a very big one. It doesn't matter now. What we do have is a shot at Brendan Haywood. I'm not against bringing him in. He can play. Brings the same things Mutombo did when we won 22 straight.
