You must be new to the NBA. MJ vs two rookies.

    ACtually, the Rockets protected MJ.

They failed miserably in denying him the ball, as well as trapping him, to ensure that someone else shoot it.

Were we that afraid of leaving Oakley or Laettner open for a 20 ft jumper?

Don't blame the refs, blame the horrible execution down the stretch.

If Francis would ever learn how to run a fastbreak (which is why he's NOWHERE NEAR being the top PG) we might have pulled out a win.

jordan has always gotten calls. in fact, his last shot at the buzzer was a pushoff on russell, but since it was against the jazz, its ok.

jordan getting calls should not surprise you. it can piss you off, but not surprise.

That first Wizards bucket off the travel...errr up and under move  by Jordan was also pathetic.

Man, I only saw the game from the end of the 3rd Q on, so maybe the fact that I didn't have to suffer watching the first 3.5 Q is affecting my opinion here, but this was an awesome game by the Rockets. MpTay was just sick sick on fire. We had this game, until Jordan and the "Jordanairres (The Refs)" took over in OT.

These types of games, where the Rocks leave it all out on the floor andgive it everything they have where they nearly pull out the win, are what keep me coming back for more.

Let's take the effort/ballz we had in the fourth Q and bring it to the rest of our games.

    Go ROCKS!

    Michael is just holy.

That's why he knew he could just push Hawkins down. He is a great actor. :)

    i'll add another.

the charging call on posey when he drove the baseline in the 4th quarter: that was the ****ing definition of a blocking foul. MJ ran in front of posey and blocked his path, and never was set.

    oh well.

Those calls were hideous. Really sucks to have games decided on calls like that.

Of course, they shouldn't have gotten down by 24... :)

Posey ran him over, but the other calls were bogus.

Jordan was still sliding over on that play and was not set. It was a bad call.

You don't necessarily have to be set. Jordan beat Posey to the "spot".

Officials do not have any love for Francis for his many drive-in layups; he got bumped, hit on the arms... Francis needs to learn something from NJ how to act.

Like by two steps. I know it was going to be a charge as soon as Posey put the ball on the floor. He had nowhere but right over jordan.

MJ is MJ. If SF's "the greatest player of all time", he would also get all those BS calls.

Dr. J, Magic, Bird, MJ etc...

They all received preferential treatment from the refs.

Its never been this bad before! What about the flagrant fouls not called on Charles Oakley and the dirty sneaky fouls by Christian Laetner and the obvious fouls of Haywood on Yao Ming! Jordan takes the cake, a deliberate push down of Hawkins.

Wasn't there a time when Jordan, Bird and Magic were together where Magic joked to Bird that he better not touch jordan or they would call a foul and all Jordan could do was smile because he knew it was true.
