Just listening to their "concert" during halftime and thought the fans booed Destiny' Child. How rude if this is true and I wonder went through Steve's mind if he heard it the same I did. ------------------ Stevierebel
Yes they did. ------------------ "Rarely is the question asked: Is our children learning how to put food on their family while being put to death." It's back... Protrolls.com!
Sorry, I didn't see that someone started this same thing in the Rocket forum. A little misplaced but anything goes for some reason now. Sorry. ------------------ Stevierebel
If I were a Sixers fan I would have booed them too. The way the Sixers played in the first half...terrible. These are the same people who booed Santa Claus at an Eagles game. ------------------
Philly Fans are the MOST obnoxious fans in the world. At Eagles games they throw snow balls with batteries. I heard them Boo Destiny's Child too. No CLASS! ------------------
*Gasp*!! Philadelphia fans booing Destiny's Child!? It can't be! Everybody knows that Philadelphia fans are classy and respectable! ------------------ "I'm not here to protect my reputation, I'm here to make my reputation! Mama Barkley didn't raise no chumps!" - Charles Barkley
From the Los Angeles Times on this subject a few days ago: Some recent columns by T.J. Simers have brought howls of protest from Philadelphians, some of whom suggested that Jim Murray would never bash a city in such a manner. How soon they forget. This column by the late Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist originally ran Oct. 5, 1978. http://www.latimes.com/sports/reports/2001/nbaplay/lat_murray010610.htm ------------------ [This message has been edited by Swopa (edited June 14, 2001).]
