It'e easy to say now that the Jags are getting beaten by NE, 28-3. I felt that he should have stayed with the hot hand in David Garrard. I have been a big fan of him since he was at ECU. He is a poor man's Donovan McNabb. Leftwich looks awful tonight. What you guys think?

I think starting Leftwich was the right move, but he should have put Garrard in sooner, before the game was out of hand. You alos have to admit some key dropped passes weren't Leftwich's fault.

it's the right decision. he's your franchise QB and you can't blame some crucial drops on him. regardless, they weren't going to beat NE anyway. JAX is the least impressive 12-4 team i've ever seen.

I don't consider Leftwich a franchise QB. He's not that good. He's a good leader, is tough-minded and can make some plays, but he is very inconsistent, unreliable and almost immobile. How much upside does this guy have?

It's fair to say this game shows Del Rio is fully committed to him going forward. There is no QB controversy in Jacksonville. I agree they had no chance today.

Who cares. We're talking about the freaking Jaguars.

No one can convince me that they were as good as their record. I mean they didn't exactly blow our butts away. It got close and then the Texans said, "F#ck it. It's Bush time".

Did anyone else see that helmet to helmet hit early on that caused the fumble that the Patriots recovered?

I thought that was illegal.

I thought it was a bad decision to start Leftwich simply because it is "one and you're done." Leftwich had not seen game action for about 7 weeks and was certain to be rusty.

I know the rule of thumb is that you don't lose your starting job due to an injury from which you recover, but I would think that the playoffs need to be treated differently because of the "lose and you're out" situation.

Then they'll whine that Sports Illustrated didn't come out with a cover story about the greatest team of all-time. Bunch of lousy whiners.

i'm not saying he's a sure fire franchise qb for everyone. but he is for JAX. they spent the high draft pick on him and paid him the money. he's their franchise qb.
