Did I see Yao on the road?

    This morning when I was driving north on 288 a BMW car came off the feeder in front of me. The license plate was Yao 1. By the time I noticed the plate, the car already zipped off the highway back onto the feeder (so he could slip past the 288 traffic and cut in line up ahead where the next entry onto 288 was). Didnt really catch the BMW model.

    I figure this was:

    1). Yao
    2). Some fan that likes yao enough to put him on his license plate (maybe one of you?)
    3). Some other dude named Yao (how many of those could there be?)

    Anybody know what kind of car Yao has?

    I believe Yao's license plate is "YY11" or something involves that. It's the initials of both his last name and his girlfriend's last name. Both of their jersey numbers are 11.

    If that was indeed Yao. He seems to like driving fast. Four our sake, the boy better slow down.

    I know that car - it's a red M3, right? It's a lawyer whose last name is Yao - he parks in my parking garage. It's not Yao Ming.

    Yao Ming's car is much larger. Plus he's in New Jersey.

    Haha.. yeah, I didnt think about where Yao should be right now(NJ). Also, it seemed the car was a bit too tiny for a Yao-sized driver.

    Wow, saitou wasnt kidding about the reach of Clutchfans!

    I think I saw Nachbar's Kia this morning too. The license plate read "Bench". Wow!:D

    I have seen a TOYOTA camry, with the TOYOTA shaved off and rearrenged to read YAO camry.

    This is in northern california.
