You know, the day after really makes you think (aside from losing to the Clippers): Did Hakeem really, truly call a talk show to talk to his coach during his scheduled interview?! really!....am I dreaming. What kind of pro does that? Consider for a second you are Francis pondering a glorious future with money, women, and song...and some retiring conquerer stoops down to calling a radio talk-show to address his coach and the public at once. there is only one word for it: pathetic. Just like our newly installed defense since the otracity. hmmmm....I wonder if the timing of the two is coincidental.
He conducted a public apology for a publicized wish for a different team with a different coach. What's wrong with that? ------------------
The call in thing does seem a little sit-com-like the next day ------------------ Moochie Norris Hair Club for Men - I'm not only the president, I'm also a client
HeyPee, you're right. It never happened. It was all staged. Just like when we supposedly landed on the moon. Don't let anyone tell you different. ------------------
Does that mean that the Clippers game never happened as well? It's the next day! It never happened, right? Right!? (wolves howling) ------------------ "Of course, everything looks bad if you remember it!" Homer Simpson
I must admit something smells fishy; when they (Mark Berman) interviewed Rudy afterwards, he wouldn't mention anything about about either Miami or trades. When asked specifically, he wouldn't even say Hakeem's name. It doesn't seem like much, but avoidance is usually a signal. That'd be normal if it wasn't a big issue right now... I think Hakeem's about to be waived. Within the month. ------------------
Waiving him might be contingent on a trade happening first. Starting to sound like wishful thinking on my part, even to myself. ------------------
It seemed 610 mentioned for Hakeem to go ahead and call the show because they were jealous about it. ------------------ Sometimes you gotta do the next best thing!
Contingent on what? I thought "waive" was just another word for "fire", or "lay off", or "let go"...? Just a less hostile way to say it. More dignified towards someone who yesterday was earning a couple mil. I don't think it's contingent on anything (provided they meet all affirmative action codes). CD just calls him into the office and has a chat with him... ------------------
It was 950, Wednesday nights I think the 7 oclock hour is the Rudy T show. ------------------ -jbond77
