Hey guys i didn't get to watch the game was it officiated decently? I was looking at the box score and saw Dick Bavetta on the officials list...didn't he get fined by the FBI for rigging games?
Nah, there were some bad calls on both sides....this may be the first game he has reffed in the last few years where I didn't really notice him. Which is a miracle ! DD
Can we stop blaming the official, or relying on that as an excuse, because it wont change the outcome of the game.
There are always atleast 5 miss calls in the game of basketball no matter who is the refs. Its really hard to ref a basketball game.
I am not blaming the official, i merely was inquiring about the calls that were made as i did not watch the game.
The Donaghy book alleged Bavetta always favors the team losing to make the game closer and thus more exciting. What did we see today? Rockets were losing at the end, but a couple of fouls helped us come back and tie the game.
Refs were giving this game to the Rockets. Especially in the 4th quarter when it counts. We had everything going for us to make OT, but still lost.
They were right calls in favor of rockets, but overall it was fairly even. Although I still feel the majority of calls do not go our way in a lot of other games. The only time it feels like it goes our way is if we play ****ty teams at home.
