"camel jockey" during the second quarter when talking about Moochie Norris??? I will wait for the fall out from that unfortunate misuse of language. BTW, I think if Calvin did say that, he should apologize and all should be forgotten, because Calvin is a good man. Of course, I thought the same thing about Howard Cosell when he uttered his infamous phrase, "little monkey", when talking about Alvin Garrett of the Redskins. Cosell did not mean anything by his terrible choice of words, but he got very negative press anyway. Let's see if we are consistant in this case. I hope we are not, and a little sanity has returned to this hyper-PC world. ------------------
In addition to calvins not so brilliant comments tonight he also said "i thought pippen played hard when he was here these boos are unfortunate" ------------------ --TEX
I've already included all this in the recap ... unbelievable. Calvin was off his game tonight. ------------------ NOTHING BUT .NET CLUTCHCITY.NET
Yea,I heard him say,"he's no camel jockey".What the hell is that supposed to mean ? Make's no sense to me.Anyone ? ------------------
IMO the boos are kind of unfortunate. Last season they were fine. This season they would be fine if used in moderation, but every time he touches the ball?
Yes I am. and all i gotta say is that we should bring othella my fella back. NO im not murph, i would never wear suits that are that ugly. I do agree that he had an off night and was wrong about scotties working hard(he didnt) but the boos are used a little bit excessively.
I'm guessing he didn't mean it in the sense that we are thinking here. He was referring to Moochie Norris. I really can't think of why he was saying it. ------------------ "He was under more balls than a midget hooker."-Bobby Hill visit www.swirve.com and, http://www.geocities.com/clutch34_2000 for great Rocket insight by some of your fellow BBS posters!
