Did Beyonce fail to show up for Key to the City presentation?

    A guy I know in my dorm was in Houston this weekend and said that Beyonce was supposed to recieve the key to the city, but that she failed to show up. I've been trying to find anything about this on google, but no luck. Does anybody know if this is true?
