Did anyone see AK47's flop today?

Pathetic. AK47 might be the most extreme flopper in the league. Worse than Chris Paul. Worse than Manu. Definitely worse than Varejao.

Dirk gets beat at his own game. I saw the video of why he was ejected but it didn't seem like much. Anybody have a link for that one?

 

first of all he touches the ball handler when the ball handler is facing the basket, that is an automatic foul on the defender.

Did they not make a rule against this?

Where is the fine and/or suspension?

Were the league just not serious about the new rules against flopping, or do they legitamitely believethat not one single flop has occured this season?

Yeah, the league said it was going to issue fines for theatrical flops but I haven't heard of an instance where that's happened yet. If AK doesn't get fined for this then we know the NBA was just blowing smoke up our asses and never really intended enforce the flopping fines.

 

Replace Dirk with Yao and the flop gets called as a foul.

NBA has gotta do something about this, it's getting worse and worse and really is embarrassing to watch. I know in the comp I play in we can be given a tech for flopping... I actually got one for being hit flat in the middle of the chest by a dude dropping his shoulder! lol. If they can hand out fines and suspensions like mentioned thats the better option. Probably not fair on the refs in game... although they fall for far too many obvious ones.
