Damn, I woke up late last night to one hell of a storm. It was raining hard and the wind was blowing like crazy. This morning we found that the fence between our backyard and our neighbors' was knocked right over.

It was raining all night here, but nothing out of the ordinary from what I observe from inside.

I swear that there were 2 or 3 thunder claps directly above my house. I don't recall hearing thunder that loud before in my life.

You guys got off lucky. Up here we had multiple tornadoes. I was at the school gym last night, and they herded everyone off of the courts and out of the weight room into the inner hallways because the city tornado sirens started going off. Afterwards, I could barely make the drive back home because of the floodwaters in the streets. Crazy.

Yeah, I had to drive to work through that crap around 7am when the worst of it hit Houston. I swear I don't recall seeing winds like that in a LONG while.

Driving seven miles an hour on the wrong side of the road because you can't see a thing though the driving rain/wind/hail...awesome.
