I hear that Dick Cheney still has some significant pull in Wyoming! This could clinch that state for the McCain campaign!
W is working to enact a wide array of federal regulations, many of which would weaken government rules aimed at protecting consumers and the environment, before leaving office. He's trying to get them enacted fast enough so that they will take effect before Obama takes office. That's been my point all along when it comes to vps and all the Palin talk. THEY AREN'T. Once in office they are put on the practice squad doing the stuff no one else wants to do.
