I swear he looks like that every preseason before some of his deficiencies come back. He hits a couple jumpers every year and opens my eyes of how scary good he can be but then like I said, regular season comes and he resorts to his old ways - not that its a bad thing. He is still a beast but he could be soooooo much better.
Can someone link me the Scola's "he look ok video" I rememeber it was an open practice, but i can seem to find it
Never saw that before. Thanks. <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/mArHU1ewSog?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/mArHU1ewSog?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object> I never noticed it before, but Hakeem does sound a lot like Master Splinter.
Dream looked like he's ready to ink a 10 day. If Dwight can hit those fadeaways consistently in game situations... watch out NBA.
So nobody has taught DHo any of those moves before? I really doubt it. DHo has already reached his ceiling after 6 years in NBA. The marquee performance you saw in the '08-'09 Finals against the Lakers is going to stick with DHo for the rest of his career.
Howard's offensive game did look a lot better in last night's game. I was shocked he was hitting that 45-degree bank shot and he even had some nifty spin moves. All I ever used to see was him running to the middle of the paint and flipping some ugly hook shot. I'm not sure if it was his work with Dream that yielded the results, but his offense looks a lot better already.
What games were you watching? In 5 games, DHo averaged 15.4 pts on 48.8% shooting. His game 4 performance is the epic one. Could've made the series a little more interesting if DHo didn't choke that bad near the end of the game.
Howard was contained by LA. LA and Boston held him 1-1 and dared him to beat them. That's not a superstar. Man, Dream was born too early. He would clearly be the best player in the league today.
For him it's wishful thinking. Some Yao fans still get turned on by downing Howard every chance they get. DH is what he is, which is better than brittle Yao.
