Failing miserably to live up to the hype of his $37 million purchase from Los Angeles, Fisher was asked if anyone had criticized him at Thursday's meeting.

Good thing we didn't sign him.

I'm not trying to defend him and his dissapointing play, but he is on a pretty crappy team which is a death trap for a PG like him some times. Fisher is a good role player who excels playing off of one more more all-stars which the Warriors certainly don't have.

true ... but Chris Mullen is probably the WORST GM out there OVERPAIDING for those players.

They lost Larry Hughes, Gilbert Arenas, and Antawn Jamison to build the team around MIKE DUNLEAVY?

and traded Eduardo Najera and Christian Laettner, Luis Flores and Mladen Sekularac for Erick Dampier, Evan Eschmeyer, Dan Dickau,Steve Logan??

still have no idea what they were thinking. as said, fisher is a 3 point shooting pg. those guys belong on good teams who need all the shooting possible to protect their stars. putting him on a sorry team means he's not going to get open looks and he's not going to be able to run an offense to get the sorry guys involved. of course i can see why fisher would go there. he's got 3 rings and is 30, may as well get the biggest pay day he can get on his last contract, even if you have to play for the warriors. i might take less to go to a real team (super rich on a winner is better than super super rich on a loser to me) but hey, can't fault him for going for the money at this point.

It was good to be a Warrior last offseason. Fisher, Foyle, Murphy, Richardson. They all got HUGE dollars. The Fisher and Foyle signings were terrible! That franchise is going nowhere.

As I heard it, Mullin overpaid partly to simply outbid us. I'm not sure what that was all about, though. Maybe he wants us to fail so Yao will leap into his arms? Not that he has the cap room anymore....

The Foyle contract is still the most idiotic move though.

Funny, I never realized they're all playing on the same team again after leaving GS.

what a tragedy. They are so not interesting and seem talentless. At least Cleveland had a decent plan when they were losing.

Those 3 call themselves "Warriors East" or something similar. They've really gelled in DC.

Me neither. I guess if you ever wanted indisputable evidence of how pathetic the Leastern Conference is, look no further than the Wizards. They have the same core group of players as the Warriors did a few years ago, yet instead of being under .500 and missing the playoffs, they've got one of the best records and are competing for home court advantage.

The Foyle signing might have been the worst of all time IMO.

    Prior to this season:

    5 pts, 5 rebs, 2 blocks

    This season:

    3 pts, 4 rebs, 1.6 blocks

almost $9 MIL a year .....ouch

    Anyone remember Jim McInvaigle?

WOW, when you juxtapose the numbers and the salary down on paper. Man does it look bad!

Warriors have the dumbest ownership and management in the history of Western Civilization.

Mullin lost all credibility w/ me when he reupped Foyle and signed Fish to those horrible contracts. He had a chance to get his payroll under control but made 2 bad decisions.
