Two electric TD returns today -- the guy is sick -- why the Bears can't figure a way to incorporate him into the offense more often is bizarre. The guy gets his hands on the ball in space and it is over.

He's no Josh Cribs. Cribs is the most dangerous player in the NFL.*

    Career Punt Returns
    Eric Metcalf 10

    Kick Returns
    Several tied with 6

He might have both records after 3 years in the NFL

HOW DARE YOU! Reggie Bush is the greatest "space" player in the history of the NFL, past, present, and future.

yeah, the bears should have a play that they run where they just snap it backwards 20 yards to hester and let him go nuts. I think they would be undefeated with this strategy.

Seriously -- why not put him back at QB in the shotgun every once in a while? Clear the backfield set everyone else up for blocking and let him go wild.

I agree -- when you have a unique talent like that, you've got to come up with some creative offensive plays for him. A guy with his speed -- all he needs is the slightest crease and he's gone. I don't see why they can't come up with something - seriously.

Seriously, I think a typical shot gun formation with the backfield cleared and two blocking tight ends in the game could work.

Someone tell me why coaches let him return the ball. Every time they show a Bears game in Houston, Hester ends up returning one for a TD. The Broncos had no business losing that game and Shanahan should be ashamed of himself. I'm a Bears fans and dislike the Broncos.

Did anyone catch the 49ers vs Cardinals? I've seen it all now. In OT, the Cards line up to kick a game-winning 27 yard FG and I'm watching the play clock. They hike the ball 1/2 second late and the kicker boots it through. When the whistles blow, I'm thinking it's too bad the Cards called a timeout because he made the kick. The whistle was for delay of game. They then miss the 32 yard FG attempt. About 30 seconds later, Kurt Warner fumbles the game away in his own end zone and the 49ers win. Unbelievable!

Arkansas did a lot of that Friday against LSU. They had McFadden lineup at QB. Sometimes he ran. Others, he handed off. It worked well...but that's college football, not the NFL.

Devin Hester is simply ridiculous. Probably my 3rd favorite player behind Romo and Brady.

I don't think in today's NFL you can put Hester in the shotgun for more than maybe 2-3 plays a game for the same reason nobody runs the option. The defense is just too smart, and too quick to the ball.

I think he'd be a very effective slot receiver or 3rd down RB in passing situations. Lovie certainly needs to find more ways to get him involved. Right now he's the best return man the NFL has ever seen.

I really don't understand why he doesn't play WR more. There is no possible way that he isn't at least the 3rd best WR on the team.

simple reason.. he's not smart enough to learn the plays. I have a good friend of mine who is in love with everything Miami, and he said that Hesters problem in UM was he couldnt learn any offensive plays. Thats why he mostly played CB.

It might be as blitz says he's not smart enough but I figure they could probably scheme some easier plays for him, it might be that he doesn't really have that great hands to catch passes, or they might not want not want to risk injury to him on having him getting creamed stretching out for passes. I agree though they should use him some more in O sets. Maybe he could be used in reverses or screen passes.

he runs faster than how fast the Bears QBs can throw it.
