His Wife,His Mom, and his young sister died in a car accident. A year later on the exact same date he scored 38 for some Argentina team in a tournament, later that night he came home to find out his dad died of a heart attack.
I think ABC/ESPN did a story about him before, nevertheless an incredibly moving story. Glad Detroit won.
is mbenga throwing this game? we might need to investigate. he throws a pass out of bounds, throws an inbounds pass right to phoenix that leads to a 3, shoot a 15 foot airball, is playing about as bad on D as you can even if it is shaq. and he even ran down the court one time and tricked fisher into throwing a hopeless pass to him that was easily intercepted.
home versus road is crazy. playing in LA, this wasn't even a game and phoenix never had a chance. now in phoenix it seems like the lakers have never played basketball before.
do the lakers have shaq on their fantasy team? he's rolling to the basket wide open, getting position 2 fee from the basket against everybody. they're not doubling. i know phil doesn't like to double but giving up dunks isn't going to work.
both, these Suns are a little different from D'Antoni's version. This version attacks the basket (way) more often and then you add Shaq into the equation (much more aggressive offensively). . . in some areas these Suns are better than old one, especially in that one regard. Lakers defense might be slightly overrated. Bynum makes up for a few things, but I believe they'll get exposed in the playoffs against the right team.
