this team has shown me a lot without t-mac.

even the golden state loss was a plus before the 4th quarter. tonight against boston, down 20, we never quit.

guys like bonzi, brooks have emerged as consistent contributers who have shown good things. incredibly, rafer alston has impressed me a lot the past few games as well.

this team just a short time ago was lost, but now they look a lot more confident in their role players and seem to have a fighting spirit.

if t-mac comes back healthy and we click as we are now, i see no reason why we can't make a SERIOUS run with the way we're playing, especially with our schedule softening up.

Alston impressed me the most because he stopped settling for jumpers and attacked the basket.

The Rockets have to get some trades going

Shane Battier needs to go, trade him for a 1st round pick or something valuable, we have a lot of pieces other teams could want.

I wouldnt mind trading T-Mac for Chris Wilcox and their pick (top 5 defenitely)

just something, we NEED a trade.

While not panicking I think there is definitely large reason for concern. T-Mac is out for a few weeks. Now, I love how this team plays with intensity, specially since he has been out. However, that intensity is not translating into wins yet. Unless we can soon start stringing wins together it's going to be hard to get into the playoffs at all.

I'll be happy if we make it into the playoffs, although sad we are likely to face an elite western conference team such as SA in the first round.

I agree, This team has shown serious heart and honestly I would rather lose
and play hard consistently opposed to playing lazy and selfish....

Like the Denver game, it is a tough loss to a good team. If we play like this, I don't think playoffs should be a problem. There are still more than half of the games to play.

even if t-mac is out for 2 weeks, look at our upcoming schedule.

our next 5 games are all winnable against orlando, new york, washington, new york and minnesota.

in addition, t-mac should return in time for february, where our schedule really hits the softest part. we could conceivably lose maybe only 2-4 games in all of that month.

I say no lateral trades of the starting players unless we get a steal. If tmac comes back before all-star break and logs a month under this system, we will make the playoffs.

Blazers, and probably lakers arent going anywhere.

I completely agree. After watching the game I was dissapointed, but very happy with the heart out on the court today. We never gave up. I think the coaching strategies need more scrutinizing than the players in the last five minutes. Brooks and Scola both earned the right to be on the court at the end. Head really bothers me. He may well be the worst interior passer I have ever seen. But in the end, we had a shot to win without one of our best players in the game. Yao shot poorly, but he showed me a lot tonight getting over that the easiest way you can: dunking the ball! When t-mac gets back, if he can fit into the offense with ease, the entire game will be easier for the rockets. I am getting a little tired of the negativity in here though. I mean really, can you give your team a hand after a hell of an effort rather than this constant bashing?

This team is impossible to watch right now.

    They suck.

But when TMac comes back and they start playing well we can do what Golden State did last year. Lets hope.

We all would like to win, but we were just out matched today. We showed suprising guts and determination and even took the lead after being down 20 pts. This loss is ok. A win would have been better, but this loss is acceptable. Much better than a dispassionate victory.

So, what do you personally plan to do to get the Rockets to win again?

Did u guys forget T-Mac cuz of Wells? For Wells, there is just lacks of leadership and jump shots. However, when he is on the court, Rox are more balanced cuz he knows he is not a good shooter; instead, he will attack in the low post and will be fouled just like today VS Celtics.
