Miami traded our pick for 3 additional first rounders and a third in the Trey Lance trade. Plus our two firsts and a second, they got 5 first rounders a 2nd rounder and third rounder all for just tunsil. It directly netted them Hill and also Bradley Chubb who wasn't even on my original list. Tell how any trade could be worse. Even if laremy tunsil is the best lt in history of the game he's not worth 5 first round picks a 2nd and third.

That was the 49ers being dumb, not the Texans. You make it sound like the Texans traded 5 1st. They didn't. 2 - 1st was the going rate for young 1st round picks under team control for 2 years. Jalen Ramsey was traded for the same. Texans have gotten value from Tunsil. The trade was fine.

Goodness, let’s break out the spreadsheet and follow years of minute trades to get everything Tunsil touched…. Bro, they got 2 firsts and a 2nd from us for Tunsil (arguably the best pass blocker in the league) and Kenny Still (avg WR and we used him with Watson).

Anything else is on the other teams. They got firsts in the Trey Lance trade? Well let’s talk about how horribly dumb of a trade that was for the 49ers… everyone has bad trades, but saying 5 firsts and a 2nd for Tunsil is Miami being smart not the Texans being dumb.. good god, we seriously measuring all the way out to picks our picks were traded for??? How many degrees of separation?? I guess trading Fitzpatrick to the Jets in 2015 netted them Sauce?!?

It was the Texans being dumb because that team wasn't good. Trading all that for a LT only to get the 3rd over all pick was an epic failure. We coulda got that massive hail from the 49ers cuz we weren't drafting a QB if we had Deshaun.

How else would you measure a trade you have to compare what we gave up versus what they got. And to this day they are still benefitting from what we gave up. It was a massive overpay for team that won a whopping 4 games and got the 3rd over all pick. Absolutely the worst trade. Way worse than what the browns gave up for Deshaun. Cuz they trade wasn't bad, them changing his contract and guaranteeing that kinda money was stupid.
Considering we wasted the pick on Kenyon Green it wasn't bad for them at all. Basically swapped Will Anderson Jr for Deshaun.

You do realize the Texans lost in the divisional round in the playoffs the year of that trade?

This is why some of us devoted to God (admittedly imperfectly) do not describe ourselves as religious. To us, this connotes a following of traditions of men rather than revelation by God to men. In this respect, traditions of men are not necessarily related to deity, but can just as easily be descriptive of academia.

It wasn’t Watson for Will straight up. Here’s where we stand as of this point:

    Cleveland gets:
    • Deshaun Watson, QB
    • Texans' 2024 5th round pick

    Houston gets:
    • Kenyon Green, G (trade back for 15, 124, 162, 166)
    • ammo to get John Metchie III, WR (trade up for 68, 108, 124)
    • ammo to get Christian Harris, LB (trade up for 80, 162)
    • Dameon Pierce (107)
    • ammo to get Thomas Booker, DT (trade up for 166, 207)
    • Will Anderson, LB or CJ Stroud, QB (trade up for 12, 33, 2024 1, 2024 3)
    • ammo to get Tank Dell, WR (trade up for 69, 191)
    • Cleveland's 2024 4th round pick

That 6th bullet really is the critical one. Stepping back from the draft, what they did for Anderson feels at least partly for Stroud. If they picked Anderson 1.2, the cost of what they paid for 1.3 is probably higher. It feels entirely possible they thought Anderson was worth 1.2 but knew they wanted both, so it's hard to assess really who to tax the 1.3 trade with. Feels best to credit half of each of them in some respects more than any one particular. With Watson on the other side, almost feels most fair to say it really feels like the tax for Stroud despite Anderson being picked there.

    You are missing Cleveland's 2024 #1.

Every pope and member of the Vatican faints

Allegedly a large number of churches (trafficking) are filled with those types, now add on the universities etc and your 93% is on cue, where most claim to be said Christians (Constantinian)

Yup, fair but I took a bit of liberty in saying since we spent our 24 1st on Will/Stroud that it was kind of a wash.

Had to track that post down since I made it during the draft and at least that was my recollection from then.

Hopkins trade is nowhere near the worst in history. Neither is Tunsil.

You are trying to trade a Stroud injury for an Astros' World Series that is no longer possible. That is the worst trade in History.

Ridiculous. You just gonna change the player we traded up for lol.., I know it wasn't straight up but since it cost us our first then I'm just calling our pick and browns pick a wash since we have similiar records.
