Da next superduperstar! For those of you who say he has no mid-range shot, you are wrong. It isn't consistent like Kobe's or anything like that, but it ain't that bad. Today it was dynamite. Also, he doesn't need to develop a 3-point shot to surpass Chris Paul and Deron Williams.
In college I thought Derrick Rose was going to be a very good NBA player, but to be honest I didn't think he would be *this* good.

i only watched the bulls like 10 times this season. i finally realized he was #1 pick worthy after we lost to them. mad props.
Right now Paul still has superior playmaking ability and a better shot. But all Rose needs is to match or surpass him in one of those categories to become better.
Just because he is relaxed doesn't mean he doesn't speak well. I like the way he acted. I guess he could of yelled like KG in his interview.
First of all, if you think he's so great, how about spelling his name correctly? I mean, its kind of silly to be like "Mickael Jordan" was the best ever. Secondly, why do they have these incompetent people doing the post-game interviews? This was the best game of Rose's career to date, and he will look back on it and see some overly made up lady asking him questions that she didn't even understand. Amazing.
I don't know if you agree or not, but he reminds me so much of a young D-Wade. They even said the same things about him not having a 3-pointer or a good enough mid range jumper at one point. The scary thing is D-Rose is already more developed than a rookie D-Wade, I think. But I doubt he will be better than D-Wade (it is hard to imagine anything better than that guy, really), but he can definitely get to that level of superstardom.

He was hot today. His shot hasn't been this good all season, atleast not in the few games i watched. Him making those mid range shots really threw off the celts' defensive game plan.
The Bulls have a chance in this series because of the best guy on the floor theory which is understood as generally the team with the best guy on the floor will win the series, and I believe as good as Pierce is, Derrick Rose has a shot of being the best guy on the floor in the series.
That was the best game I have seen this season. Just phenomenal. Gordon and Thomas made some incredible plays. But Rose is outstanding. I am missing words to describe his game. Just AMAZING.
