Much deserve minus the ugly shooting %. Just stop shoot threes and go for the midrange. Why the heck he abandoned his relaible 15 footer is puzzeling.

he takes them because on the pick and roll, his defenders go under the pick and dare him to shoot it. I don't mind him taking a couple a game but he really needs to stop chucking up three's every time they go under the pick.

Maybe I've missed it, but what was Lebron crying about depicted in this pic? Its quite disturbing...

Rose needs to shoot the three only at the flow of the game and not forcing it.

Pageantry at its finest. Had LeBron stayed in Cleveland he would obviously have won; if Chris Paul had taken 20 shots per game he would have likely won. Anybody other than LeBron winning is just a result of all the LeBron hate.

Drose is a great selection for MVP this year. The bulls have one heck of a team too.

That said, I'm not sure he is the best player in the game, which of course leads us to the debate of what does MVP really mean?

Best player on the best team? Drose is a great choice. But so would Kobe, so would dwade or lebron (or co-MVP), and we can't forget durantula...

Best player overall? Lots of arguing ensues...

    Rose deserves the MVP.

He is obviously not the best player in the league, but that's not the point for the MVP award.

I always felt it was as the name implies-- Most Valuable Player. As in without said player, the team he was on would fall into disarray and lose a bunch of games-- hence their value. Doesn't necessarily have to be the best team, just that if his presence was lacking on the team the team would blow. But at the same time can't be a good player on a really losing team because the lack of wins diminishes his value.

That being said sometimes I feel they don't always hold true to this criteria.

The winner is the most valuable player in the NBA,not the MVP of one particular team. The impact on the league,as well as the team should be taken under consideration.
Rose is a strong choice, but I would have given it to Dwight despite the elimination of the Magic. I feel that his performance was the best of any one player this year.

Yes, and it's why Lebron James rightfully won MVP in his final years with the Cavs.
