I don't know if this has been posted before, but (not for those with weak stomachs) Spoiler *collective gag*
Never hated or had dislike for Fish. Sure, that scola shot last year was a b**** move, but I've always respected dude.
Fisher is a legit guy. Im sure if Sura knocked out Dirk in the 05 playoffs like that, we Clutchfans would be lovin Sura. Cant have it both ways.
I wouldn't I'm not a big fan of cheap shots. If you got a problem with a guy at least be man enough to fight him on equal terms if you want to take it to that level. Cheap shots are for suckers and children.
Just kidding. I know he plays for the enemy (he's played for 2 actually), but I think Fish is a pretty good guy. Loves his daughter, has a passion for the game, if he played for us he probably would be a lot of people's favorite player because he's a "good person" IMO.
Are you kidding? If Fisher played for the Rockets he would be the most hated player on the team. Have you seen the hate Battier takes from a lot of fans? Battier is a much better player than Fisher. Fisher gets abused on defense by good point guards and is beyond worthless on offense in nine out of every ten games.
he would be a fan favorite for his hard-nosed gridding play. teammates would love him because he has their backs
During the regular season, I'm always thinking to myself "why is this guy even starting?" Then come playoff time, he always comes through He can be dirty at times, but I still like his character on and off the court.
He's easily one of the top 10 most clutch guys in NBA history. His shot on Scola last year was cheap but nowhere near as bad as it seems. Scola flopped and made it look like he got hit by a mack truck. Scola's got like 8 inches and 40 pounds on Fish.
If you're going to hand it out punishment, you better be able take it too. But no, there is fisher flopping if he gets caught in a pick. I guess we should look for this book in the fiction section.
can anybody fall down any more without it being called a flop? geez. fisher is a freakin' bowling ball and he got his momentum going and leaned into the hit as much as he could with his shoulder while scola was running over to set a pick and not exactly bracing himself for a hit (his feet were a little in front of him). you gotta be bigger than scola to not get knocked down pretty hard by that hit.
IMO, the dude lied to the Jazz about his daughter to get out of Utah, her doctors were in NY.....not LA..... I think the Jazz did him a solid, and he used his daughters condition to go to another team. Add to that the Scola incident....well...**** him. DD
