If you look at the schedule, I think the Nuggets can finish ahead of us by a game.....their schedule is weak!!! Houston will finish behind them. Now that the Kings clinch, I bet you the lose 4 of the next 6 games. The Kings have a tough schedule. I still think Seattle is the best 1st round matchup.

Gee,imagine that,we get the favorable matchup against the Sonics, and perhaps a less than 100 % Spurs team.Even without Howard,I think this team can dial it way up.Lets go Rocks.

The Kings schedule looks easy to me. 3 games that are easy wins. Plus, the last game of the season, the Suns will probably rest their players since they probably will have already clinched the first seed.

Yeah thats what i was thinking. They will lose to the Suns and atworst they split with the Lakers. Thats not going to be enough for us to overtake them unless we go 5-1 the rest of the way.

    Denver 6-1?
SuperSonics, Warriors, Grizzlies, Rockets, and Suns are all tough teams to beat. I don't think their schedule is easy as you think.

I think best we can do is just make the playoffs regardless of positioning. Then, we get hammered in the first round and...buh bye. If we are worrying so much about what other teams are doing and what team we have to face in the playoffs, then this indicates to me a lack of faith in our team and drives home the point that we are inconsistent and not very good. I don't care what the other teams do. I care what my team does. They have been playing horribly lately. Even the Laker game was a disappointment cause the Lakers stink and we didn't do so well even though we won. That crap play wouldn't hold up against a top 8 team.

6-1 is very reasonable the way they've been playing as of late

They should beat the Sonics, Grizz, and Rockets

The Warriors have been playing well as of late but so have the Nuggets so that should be a good matchup but I think Denver will take it

They will lose to the Suns, without the Suns Denver would be on like a 20+ winning streak

First off though, in my opinion, it doesn't matter where we're seeded because the Rockets can beat anybody in the first round, so the Rockets will be fine. But the Kings schedule being easy, they have a home-and-home against the Lakers and that game is still looked at as a rivalry, and the Lakers will rise up out of pride. You saw how they played against us and then they follow that up by going into Seattle and destroying them so the Lakers won't roll over. Neither will the Jazz. That's a tough schedule for the Kings.

Why should Denver beat the Rockets? Heck, why is it a given that they would beat the Sonics and Grizz? Denver is playing well, but those teams aren't exactly chopped liver. The Rockets will be ready for the Nuggets you can take that to the bank.

With Howard out for the playoffs now. we probably will get bounced in the 1st round. I don't think that would be all bad for the long run. We would have Howard back next season plus a draft pick and free agent to get younger/better at pf & pg. I haven't given up on this season, but I'm really excited about the team being together & healthy for next year.

because we haven't been playing well at all..lets see how we do in Phoenix shooting wise and then I might change my judgment. The Sonics are playing like crap right now, which is why I want us to get the 6th seed.

That game against the Nuggets is crucial for us and them as well, it will be tough and we will need to get back to the way we played before the allstar break

Denver are by far the hottest team in the league, period. They will overtake the Rox and Kings for #5 seed, while the Kings and Rockets will be battling for which team has the honor to play the Suns/Spurs (hmm...sorta pick your poison basically).

But hey, in order for the Rockets to win it all in the future, they have to learn how to lose in the playoffs and gain that crucial experience they need. Anybody who thinks a team with little/no experience in the playoffs can just go in and advance and win it all doesn't know crap about NBA basketball. You gotta pay your dues, and the Rockets are yet to do so. We are in it for the long run, so don't look for immediate gratification, you gotta crawl before you learn to walk.

A real champion beats ANY team they face in the playoffs, and they are not worried about whom they play, but rather how 'we' play and execute to win games. All a team can control is how they play and how focused they are on the task, and they let other things (seeding, etc.) take care of themselves.

Denver is Overrated?? Are you kidding me?? you dont go win that many games in 30 game period being overrated. Denver will more than likely take the 5th seed and play Dallas. That series might go to 7 games....I think Denver advances and loses to Phoenix in the 2nd round.

What do you mean they should beat the Rockets? That's a road game for Denver. I bet the odds will be in favor of Houston (-4)

Getting bounced in the first round is good????????? The draft position does not change whether the Rockets gets swept in the first or they go all the way to the Finals

If the Rockets and Kings get overtaken by Denver they will not play Suns/Spurs. They will play Spurs/Sonics
