Denver Council woman wants White People Only Tax!!

Well that so funny that she would think about trying something like that it's all smoke and mirrors.

 

Who qualifies as being "white"? How is that defined, and by whom?
Who qualifies as being "black"? How is that defined, and by whom?
What about the three thousand black slave owners who owned 12,000 black slaves? How does that get sorted out?
What about the white slaves? The Asian slaves? The Latino slaves? The native American slaves? How does that get sorted out?
Is there going to be any adjustment for the 698,000 almost-all-white men who served in the Union army, fighting for the freedom of slaves? Or the 365,000 almost-all-white men who died for the freedom of slaves?
What's the plan for differentiating between blacks who have immigrated to the USA in the past 150 years vs. blacks who are relatives of slaves?
If white people have immigrated to the USA in the past 150 years, will they have to pay? How will they be identified?
What documentation will be used to determine the genealogy of slaves?

It only takes a few seconds of thinking it through before you realize that reparations are really just impossible to quantify

 

We should provide free annual checkups for fat people and tax them if they don’t go.
