Well, Its preseason so it doesn't count, and the guy won't make the team. But... Its still a 65 yard Field Goal.

    Denver 31, Seattle 0

DENVER (TICKER) -- Ola Kimrin had to impress someone.Kimrin booted a 65-yard feld goal on the final play of the first half as the Denver Broncos rolled to a 31-0 victory over the Seattle Seahawks.

A native of Sweden, Kimrin has played two seasons for the Frankfurt Galaxy in NFL Europe. He has little chance at making the Broncos' final roster with Jason Elam firmly entrenched as the club's kicker.

With seven seconds left in the half, Kimrin came on and drilled his kick through the uprights with a few yards to spare as Denver took a 24-0 lead. He was mobbed by teammates as he returned to the sideline.
Elam hit a 63-yard field goal in 1998, tying Tom Dempsey for the longest field goal in league history. Exhibition games do not count in the record book.

Electing to play their starters, the Broncos went with third-stringer Jarious Jackson at quarterback for much of the contest.

Jackson threw a 38-yard touchdown pass to first-round pick Ashley Lelie and had a four-yard TD run around a one-yard TD run by second-round pick Clinto Portis in the first quarter.

Jackson went 14-of-22 for 144 yards. Portis carried 13 times for 62 yards.

Denver (3-1) opens the regular season at home on September 8 against the NFC champion St. Louis Rams.

Veteran Mark Rypien saw most of the playing time at quarterback for the Seahawks, going 10-of-18 for 84 yards. Starter Matt Hasselbeck was 2-of-6 for 17 yards and was intercepted twice.

Seattle (1-3) opens the season on September 8 at Oakland.

Hell, with the way Jano is starting out this guy might not be a bad pickup.

Yeah, I think The Jano experiment won't be given up for a few more years though. Bringing in some Competetion might not be a bad idea.

I hope Janikowski works out but he really pissed me off a couple of times last year (Titans especially) and probably cost us home field vs. NE. Someone hungry like this guy could motivate him to start performing or start packing. The Raiders play in too many close ones to worry about a inconsistent kicker. I am sure this Kimrin guy will catch on somewhere if he can kick like this.

Also is it just me or is Biekert being shafted or what?
