I smell a Nuggets fan that's been here for a while. I mean, even if they were some how to beat the Lakers/Rockets.. they don't stand a chance against Cleveland. The Rockets have a better shot at beating the Lakers.. than the Nuggets have of just making the NBA Finals.
Denver vs Dallas is a sidelight series. The winner of that is meaningless, they are both 2nd tier teams The winner of the Rockets vs. Lakers series will win the NBA championship. DD
Wow once game into the second round and Denver are the champs. Guess Rockets and Lakers series is meaningless.
I think the only thing that's being said is that it may be a mistake to underestimate Denver. That IS a good team over there. A lot of people are expecting their series with Dallas to go 6 or 7 games. I'd be surprised if Denver got pushed to 5. Denver isn't the same team that they've been in the recent past. They play defense a lot better now than they did last year. Swapping out Allen Iverson for Chauncey Billups gave them direction, confidence, leadership, and a guy who could make plays and win. I won't go as far as to say that the Nuggets would beat either Houston or Los Angeles in a seven-game series. But it would be fun to see.
The DENVE has played very physical. Luckily, they have HCA now. I don't think they would be allowed to play like that without many fouls on the road.
