anyone here can help me out to find another place to stay for next fall? i was thinking about lewisville also but dont know what prices are like. all i need is a one bedroom apartment and would prefer it if the property does not have any trees that make it look like a jungle, so i would prefer a newer proprety. i tried rent.com and moveforfree.com but they are not very helpful at all. iam a student at unt.

corinth/lake dallas are probably your best bet. the commute from flower mound/lewisville/carrollton gets old after the 3rd week.

denton has some nicer places though.

If you go the back way from Flower Mound, it used to not be so bad.

But now that they've gone crazy building giant malls and shopping centers around there, it's probably worse than when I lived there three years ago (I liked our apartments in Flower Mound. They were called Lantana at the time, but now I guess they're trying to class the place up by calling it the Marquis at Lantana. Looking at their website, they've also increased their prices pretty considerably since then, as well).

When I lived in Denton I lived at Oak Meadows, corner of Teasley and Jason Dr. Decent enough place, nothing out of the ordinary.

In Lewisville I lived at Park Timbers for a while, and that place a little bit of a downgrade from Oak Meadows, and it seemed to be getting a bit on the shady side when I moved out. I lived at The Madison at Round Grove for the past three years before I got my house, and I really liked it there. Decent rent, neighbor's weren't too noisy, never any trouble with the office staff...

The commute from Lewisville to Denton will get annoying, though. I made the trip six days a week when I lived in Denton, and it was bothersome then, and that was when gas was under $2...
