I dont know if anybody seen it but the dude was ackin like he wasent even coherent to anythin that John Salley,Bill Bellamy or Chris was saying to him.I laughed at him because if any team is that hard up for a sideshow like D-Rod then they are basically tryin to genertate some extra dividends into the pockets.Dennis said it himself last night something made him like he is.He aint all there to begin with and if the Rockets have any sense and anybody on this site have any sense they wouldnt dare consider Dennis Rodman to be on the roster.I think the Rockets can do bad by they got damn selves with out him around making scenes and not paying attention.Let him do that somewhere else.
I hope someone does pick him up. I'd like to see this guy put in his place when he gets worked over by people half his age. At worst the team can always release him like Dallas and San Antonio did, but you're right. Keep him away from Houston!! Don't ticker with our already fragile chemistry.
I would actually like to see Rodman on the rockets. the guy is old but he can probably still rebound and play real good D. he would be a good on the court role model for eddie griffin to play hard and aggresive.
I wonder if Rodman could still play...? Probably not well enough to merit signing him, in terms of his locker room behavior. Still, he'd probably still be good for 8-10 boards a night, and some pretty good defense. It's not like he has to be in great shape to play his style of defense, which, if I remember correctly, essentially involved irritating his man to such an extent that he couldn't play effectively. Perhaps Chuckles put it best when he said, "Dennis is like a little brother; if you let him see that he's bothering you, it just encourages him. You have to ignore him, and maybe he'll go away."
For the record, the Spurs traded him to Chicago for Will Perdue. More or less it was tantamount to him being waived.
