dennis lindsey (sp) of the rockets will be on sports radio 610. I believe they said in the 5 oclock hour to talk about the draft.

I've never heard of this "Dennis Lindsey." Is he of some importance to the Rockets' well-being? Does he have any say in the draft? His name makes me think of Rodman cross-dressing.

Dir of Scouting. Not a cross dresser (in public, at least).

He is the head of player development, not scouting. Joe Ash is the head of scouting.

He works both with scouts for college and foreign players but also with players on other teams.

I just caught bits and pieces. Nothing really new. He mentioned that the first 3 picks were locks and after that it was wide open.

He said he believed in TJ Ford and that he'd always been a winner. He thought he would be successful in the league.

He mentioned that they were putting in very long hours. His quote was soomething like, "You know how Jeff likes to work." That they would come in at around 6:30 AM and stay until 9:00 PM or midnight.

He did mention that they were looking for players that would fit in JVG's system (philosophy) although I didn't hear any specifics on this, ie which players or what kind of players.

They did say that he would have him back on draft night.

Sorry, but that's all I can remember.
