    Demeco getting some love:

    Fox Sports 2006 NFL Predictions

    ...Super Bowl
    Panthers over Bengals

    MVP
Carson Palmer will win it over Donovan McNabb and Tom Brady

    Defensive Player of the Year
My curveball pick, Julian Peterson, will win it just ahead of Ed Reed and Shawne Merriman.

    Offensive Rookie of the Year
DeAngelo Williams will win it, beating out Marcedes Lewis and Greg Jennings.

    Defensive Rookie of the Year
Demeco Ryans will win it (Not fellow Texan Mario Williams!) ahead of Kamerion Wimbley and Manny Lawson.

    Coach of the Year
    Cincy's Marvin Lewis.

    That would be nice.

A good year from the middle linebacker would help this team with run defense something they couldn't do worth a flip last season.

Mario- dude needs to get his motor running and get after the QB

Definitely would be a good thing. For Demeco to get the ROY, he would turn a weakness to a strength and the Texans would need some coverage as having a good defense. I'd have no problem if Mario beat him out, but I don't see Mario having a good shot at DROY while not playing RDE near fulltime. I have no problem with the Texans moving Mario around as long as the Texans get the best production as they can from their line.

Just looked at ESPN's predictions: Scouts Inc. has Mario Williams as a DROY and Michael Smith has Demeco Ryans as his favorite to win it.

It would be great if Ryans got the award. Mario is huge and fast....he is definately going to be a factor in our season. It just means that we have revamped the Defense, which we needed desperately.

Mario and Demco 1-2 for defense.

Wali Lundy takes it down for offense.

That is actually a pretty decent set of predictions in that article.

Interesting that you accept their Defensive ROY prediction (Ryans) but substitute your own Offensive ROY. If you're using his predictions, Reggie Bush isn't even in the top 3.

WOW. You guys are acting like me predicting Reggie Bush to win offensive rookie of the year to be a stretch. What a wild and outlandish prediction by me. Come on guys, i'm a member of a few good NFL football boards and nowhere do I see the hate for Reggie Bush and running backs in general than I do on this board, it is truely unreal. And most of the hate comes from UT fans. Bias, maybe?

Here are Vegas' odds for offensive rookie of the year, I can't believe I made such an outlandish prediction. What has gotten into me? Am I Insane?

Sorry for making the stupid post. Now please send Vegas a message and tell them to stop making stupid predictions on who will win offensive rookie of the year.
