My fantasy team weeps, but I can't say I'm heartbroken that we won't see him on this road trip.

Viral meningitis isn't lethal, but the only way to treat is to give fluids, pain meds, and wait.

Meningitis can cause several issues like permanent or transient hearing loss, vision issues, etc that take time to resolve. He'll be fine, but he just needs time.

I would respectfully disagree. Both IV ascorbic acid and the liposomal form (non-encapsulated) can treat viral infections effectively. You won't find double-blind studies, but there is a solid "anecdotal" record for their use going back almost 65 years now. A few years ago, a case in New Zealand, helped this "hidden" history, be brought more into the light, via the New Zealand version of "60 Minutes."

Until one delves into researching the subject, most of us generally buy into the idea that ascorbic acid, as a serious health treatment, has already been "proven" to be of little use. Wrong. (What one discovers from researching ascorbic acid, is that, almost across the board, it elevates integrity of health -- from repairing muscle/ligament/cartilage to supporting immune function and treating serious infections; AND helping prevent injuries from exercise/physical labor.) It is a critical component in creating collagen. Athletes could raise the threshold of susceptibility to injury by taking a gram dose of ascorbic acid several times a day (with each meal, for instance) every day. The RDA is just insufficient for optimal prevention and repair. Almost all animals synthesize ascorbic acid and elevate its levels under stress -- injury and infection. We lack a single enzyme, in the multi-enzyme process, to create it. And it is created from glucose; a very foundational molecule in nature.

What you won't find are any serious attempts in "research" to replicate Klenner's protocols. The treatment is still being used and written about by a handful of doctors who, like Klenner, just "did it."

A good understanding to correct the "misunderstanding" of how to use standard, oral vitamin C, is discussed in a recent article by Steve Hickey and Hillary Roberts. The article isn't saying it can cure Ebola, since to my knowledge it hasn't been tried with Ebola. It talks about "half-life" and "dynamic flow," and their importance to effective results. BUT IV and liposomal has been used successfully on other hemorrhagic fevers, such as Dengue fever. I see no reason why IV and/or liposomal forms shouldn't work for Ebola, if sufficiently sized and sufficiently timed doses are administered.

Correct. Not a physician. But the links are about working physicians results. Did you read through any of the information -- and/or look at the video?

As they say, "Don't knock it until you've tried it." Skeptical physicians haven't tried it. Yet there are physicians using it whom they could contact if interested in trying it. Narrow-mindedness pervades too much.

I've had viral meningitis and it rivaled kidney stones as the most painful thing I've endured. Spent 7-10 days zonked on pain meds with my head under a pillow because seeing any light made my head want to explode. Horrible stuff.

I know it is hard to overcome the common perception about vitamin C. For a recent "discovery" of its ability with a very resistant strain of TB, see this article. (A detailed lengthy discussion of how it does what is here.)
