Heading there for vacation next week for the birthday and some nice relaxation time. Anybody familiar with the area? Anything fun to do? Good places to eat? Nightlife? Thanks ahead of time.
Went to Boca Raton a few weeks ago... there's a lot to do over there... it's not really a tourist town, but there's a lot of choices for eating, shopping, and stuff like that... I'm betting they also have some clubs there. Delray Beach is really just not around too much until you go down south to Ft. Lauderdale and Hollywood, that's where you'll find a lot of nightlife. There's a big casino in Hollywood called the Hard Rock Hotel and Cafe, it's pretty nice... you might want to try that... it's only about 30-40 mins away from Delray... Hope this helps. And EDIT: And if you REALLY REALLY want to enjoy yourself... Miami is less than an hour away from you... I suggest you at least take a drive there once while you are there in Delray... there's partying to the max in Miami. Just ask D-Wade.
Haha...thanks for the reply. I've been to Ft. Lauderdale before and enjoyed that area. It was nice but wasn't really blown away. Have yet to check out Miami, though. I have friends from school that live down there that act like they live like kings, every night is a party, etc. I'll have to make the drive down that way if it's as close to Delray as it seems.
Everyone should check out South Beach at least once in their life, unless of course you don't like looking at all the models walking around.
