Now that Mo Williams goes to the Cavs, do you guys think Delonte West can be a solid PG contributor for the Rockets? If not, I still think the team needs a penetrating PG..don't think Francis still has it..kyle lowry?

Delonte West would probably be a better back-up than Brooks. Kyle Lowery is pretty decent too. I think we need one more back-up point before the season.

I think we need help at the point but delonte west is not the answer and he probably wants a bigger contract than the rockets can offer.

The only possible PG upgrade is Mo, now he is gone.

Now way we can get Kyle Lowery.

Rafer will be our PG, forever.

Kyle Lowry would be better than Aaron Brooks. I don't know if the Grizzlies would be willing to move him. He isn't expensive either (1.16M).

I heard that West was involved in that trade.

Delonte is better than Brooks, but I agree with you because I see him more as a combo guard.I think you are right about him wanting a bigger contract than what the Rockets can offer him.
My feeling is that he shoots better than he passes and that concerns me.

16 million for 4 years , he can be a very solid backup with some size.
    If Landry doesn't work out.

I predict Delonte will be playing in Europe next year.

What happens you're decent enough to be a rotation player/bit-starter in the NBA, when you're not a cheap enough backup option and too expensive to stay on the bench

    You go to Europe!

    Brooks, Alston, Francis is enough.

I don't want new playmakers, Alston proved that he can fit in high motion offense and he outgunned Mike James, VSpan and injured Steve Francis.

Spanoulis looked awesome against Germany. Too bad he didn't have the discipline and patience to adapt to NBA basketball. I think he could have eventually been a very good point guard in this league.

Rather get livingston in my opinion, sign him to a one year contract and if it doesent work out with injury and all we can let him go after the season, plus i think he's cheaper than west

I wouldn't want to see Delonte West in a Rocket Jersey.
